Prayer is simply humanities ability to speak with the Creator. HE is not so far beyond us that HE does not want a relationship with us. GOD created us for relationship with HIM and like human relationships, communication is paramount for the relationship to grow. Prayer is that form of communication GOD yearns for from us.
Prayer is not about just what we can ask for and get from GOD, prayer is also about being thankful towards HIM and praising HIM for what HE has already done. Prayer can simply be just conversing with GOD as you would a friend. You might ask, “why would I speak to the mighty GOD so simplistically”? The answer is, because HE loves you that much.
