The church was founded in 1961. From its humble beginning, New Life Worship Center was built on the foundation of apostolic truth and continues to teach and preach the the very same Gospel message taught by the Apostles in the Bible.
In 2001 the congregation voted in Pastor Ron Hehnke. He, along with his wife Donna and two children Brigette and Amanda came from Alexandria Louisiana were they spent 17 years actively engaged with the Pentecostals of Alexandria, under the leadership of Bro. Anthony Mangun. With Pastor Hehnke’s leadership and guidance, New Life Worship Center has grown into a thriving family oriented multicultural church.
The focus of New Life Worship Center is to make disciples, and through it’s outreach program the Good News of JESUS CHRIST continues to be shared with the Bossier City Community. Along with outreach, New Life Worship Center focuses on programs and activities designed for families as well as members of all ages and life stages. These programs are developed to help teach and mentor members to live their lives according to the apostolic doctrine established by the Apostles. New Life Worship Center also provides Discipleship courses to new members to provide them with a foundation in the apostolic doctrine and an in-depth study to the apostolic faith.
